From the first of September, anyone registered to the 3DS Ambassador Programme will be able to download 10 NES titles via the eShop. The original Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda and Donky Kong Jr., as well as Ice Climber and Balloon Fight all make the list.
Later on, we will expect to see GameBoy Advance games hitting the store for the same users. Yoshi’s Island: Super Mario Advance 3, Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Metroid Fusion, Mario vs Donkey Kong and Minigame Mania will front the free download list.
The GBA titles, Nintendo said, wil be exclusive to any Ambassador. They do not expect to put them up for sale at all.
To register for the Ambassador Programme, early Nintendo 3DS adopters simply need to connect to the Nintendo eShop before August 12th.
