Metal Gear Solid 4 on PlayStation 3 is finally set to receive Trophy support, according to Hideo Kojima in an interview with Famitsu (via Andriasang).
Japanese gamers will be able to buy a new budget version of Metal Gear Solid 4, which will come with the trophy update, in August. For those who already own the game, they will be issuing the trophy support through a patch, however we have no word if europe will get the budget version of MGS4 or indeed when the patch will actually land.
Metal Gear Solid 4 launched back in June 2008, followed closely by the introduction of PlayStation trophies in July.
Metal Gear Solid 4 is one of my favourite games, I’ll be willing to re play it and go through, getting all the trophies. While it’s unclear at the moment whether trophies will be awarded retrospectively for this game, I’m certainly ready for a replay, 4 years after it’s launch. What about you?
