Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate will launch on October 23rd, and at some point in autumn for PC.
While we’ve not heard about a possible launch for older titles, we expect them to miss the older systems out, as per with Unity.
Syndicate is set in Victorian London, 1868, staring twins Jacob and Evie. Players will be able to do all the typical Assassin’s Creed free-running, plus take control of vehicles including horse and carriage.
Combat has also been tweaked to be faster than in previous entries in the franchise.
Here’s a pre-alpha walkthrough of some Syndicate gameplay:
A new game, a new time period and a new setting. The previous games in the series have all done reasonably well, and there seems to be almost infinite locations and time periods to set Assassin’s Creed in, when will it end?! I didn’t enjoy the last game, however maybe with the setting being closer to home and tweaks to the combat, I’ll enjoy it a little more this time? We’ll have to wait until launch to find out!
